combat baby

My parents were obviously really not happy with the bleaching-my-hair idea. During the debate I had with them over whether or not colleges will think I look like a "sleaze" because of an unnatural hair color, I mentioned this Patrik Ervell button down I would like to own, and my dad was like, "okay, you can have the Patrik Ervell button down if you promise not to dye your hair blonde." So I stopped and considered my options. Not such a bad offer. Patrik Ervell button down = $220. I really want these Alexander Wang shoes that are $252 marked down from $630...so if my dad contributed $220, I would only have to pay $32 extra! Whatadeal! And I can always dye my hair blonde once I get into college, but these shoes will soon sell out. Ah so smart.

Long story short, I promised to never speak of dying my hair blonde until I turn 18, and in return, my dad bought me the Alexander Wang shoes. Super sweet. I wish the real world was like that.

So these babies are the Aaron ankle boot, with a 2.5 inch heel and 1 inch platform. I can wear them to school and not worry about falling down the stairs and breaking my head open! (Won't get into college with a cracked skull!) They're pretty heavy in terms of actual weight, but they lace up nice and tight so it doesn't feel like they weigh your feet down. Plus, the soles are really cushy so it's like walking on a cloud. If you have wide feet, I would not recommend buying these, though: they do take a lot of wiggling to get into. Otherwise, go crazy! They smell so good!! Italiano leather guys! (With a leather sole!)

I know my toes are weird and unpainted and un-modellike srsly guys calm down. But on the subject of toes:

Oh and also I should probably end my life because a tumblr called "uggsales" left one of the two notes on my shoes:

good deal. i used to do shit like that to my parents all the time when i still lived at home.

the best part is when you move out and your mom misses you so much that every time she sees you she can't help but buy you things when you're out shopping together ;)

xx
